Rentals & Private-Client Loans

Our one-of-a-kind metal couture pieces are available to rent for events, shoots, and special occasions. Each piece is handmade at our Los Angeles atelier, and we generally only have one of each style/color available, so we ask for your patience and flexibility as we do our best to accommodate as many people as possible.

  • Please email us your selects to confirm availability and schedule a time for pickup.
  • We recommend pickup for the day before the event.
  • We are always happy to create a custom look or modify an existing piece for your event and can often do it in less than a week. We do not allow for the modification of our rental pieces. Please email us to find out about costs and timing.
  • We will provide a rental contract that must be filled out and returned before pickup.

Rental terms

  • Rental fee: 20% of the piece’s retail price for a 7-day rental. Each additional day is prorated. Rental fee can be used towards the purchase of the garment.
  • Fittings: We do not usually allow for off-site fittings for rentals. If an exception is made, the 24-hour fitting fee is 10% of the retail value of the garment and can be applied towards the overall rental fee.
  • Card hold: a credit-card authorization for the full retail value of each piece is required before pickup. The hold is released after the piece is returned and inspected.
  • Damage and loss: tell us straight away if a piece is harmed while it is in your care, and please leave it untouched — no mending, cleaning, or reshaping it yourself. We bill minor mends at their true cost. A piece that disappears, is stolen, or can’t be restored is billed at full retail. And please get our written permission before any of the following: water, oils, or spray tan anywhere near a piece; any alteration of any kind; or demanding uses such as stunts, fire, pyrotechnics, smoke or haze, or animals.
  • Cleaning: please don’t launder a piece at home in any way — no washing, hand washing, or spot cleaning. Send everything back to us as it is; the atelier handles all cleaning professionally, and that care is part of the rental fee.
  • Pickup, shipping, and returns: collect and bring pieces back in person at the LA atelier, at an agreed time. We can also ship inside the USA: you cover the FedEx cost in both directions (express, signature on delivery), and the pieces stay your responsibility until they’re back in our hands at the atelier.
  • Late returns: Prorated daily (from the weekly fee) after the agreed return date. A piece not returned within 20 days of the return date is treated as a purchase at its full retail value.
  • Cancellation: after the agreement is signed and payment has gone through, rental fees can’t be returned. If your date moves, reach out as early as you can — whenever we’re able, we’ll keep your pieces set aside for the new date.

Requirements day of rental

  • Credit Card and ID must be presented
  • Credit card must have enough credit on it to cover the full value of the pieces being rented

Information we need before we can move forward with the rental

  • Who will be wearing the piece?
  • What is the event? For shoots/publications, please provide the publication or production details
  • What is the event/shoot date?
  • What is the return date?
  • Will there be a fitting?
  • Is there a mood board?
  • Pickup at the LA atelier, or shipped? If shipped, please provide the delivery address
  • For stylists and productions: is there a letter of responsibility (LOR)?
