BUY BACK PROGRAM

Email Us Your Pics! info@nataliafedner.com

Natalia cares deeply for animals and the environment. Behind the scenes, she has been offering her private clients the buy-back program for the past 5 years. The motivation is simple: art should never be discarded – it can have a second life or it can evolve into another work. Over the years she has dyed and embroidered past collections and turned them into new ones. Offering her clients the opportunity to trade in their older pieces for credit or new designs is a wonderful way to be sustainable, innovative, and give her clients the ability to explore new styles.

So what exactly is this “Buy Back Program”? And what does it mean now that it’s open to the public?

Well, anyone who owns an authentic Natalia Fedner design can trade it in for credit or a new design! Just email us photos of the items (from all angles, ideally on the body –being sure to show any signs of wear in the photos). Based on the condition, you will receive a trade-in quote that can be turned into a gift card or applied towards a purchase.

I got a quote, and I’d like to move forward with trading in my design – what next?

Just email us back and we’ll send you a shipping label at no cost to you. Once we receive the garment, we’ll email you your gift card code that’s instantly redeemable on the website. If the garment is in significantly worse condition than the photos you sent us, we will let you know if the trade in value is going to be impacted. If you change your mind about the trade in, you will be responsible for return shipping.

Okay, this sounds great, but you’re a business and you need to make money, so realistically speaking how much buy-back value should I expect if I’m trading in a nearly-new item?

You can expect to get between 20-40% of the original MSRP for excellent condition. That’s more competitive than any other buyback program in fashion at this moment. We really mean it when we say we want to give the items a second life! You can easily receive a $1000 credit for a mint condition dress/gown.

What if I don’t have the original receipt or I bought it from a resale site/ sample sale? Or the item is missing the logo tag?

We will still consider it for a credit trade if it’s an authentic Natalia Fedner item. But the trade value will be based on our internal history.

My piece is really damaged. Will you still take it?

Possibly! It really just depends on the item, and we’ll need to see photos. We have processes available to us that can sometimes revive the most damaged of pieces! The trade-in value of severely damaged items is generally between 10-25% of the original retail price.

Natalia gifted me my piece years ago – I love it – but I’ve worn it a 1000 times, and I’d love to represent the brand’s newer designs, can I trade it in?

Probably! Send us pics, and we’ll let you know. We won’t tell Natalia 😉.

Can I use my trade-in credit on a sale item?

No.

I have an old design, and I love the idea of Natalia chain embroidering/dyeing it – is that an option ?

Yes! That’s not part of our buyback program. It falls under “alterations”.  Aesthetic Design alteration prices start at $500+. Please reach out to us with photos and we’ll let you know what’s possible and the costs. info@nataliafedner.com Subject: AlterationDesign alteration prices start at $500.
