Sometimes we like to let the clothes speak for themselves.
Sometimes we like to let the clothes speak for themselves.
We can finally reveal what we’ve been working on for 6 months! Working with Sports Illustrated Swim has been a truly wonderful experience. Stylist Jo Guinta and editor MJ Day pulled together a ground breaking issue. Natalia Fedner is proud to have so many looks featured in the issue. Check out the gallery below featuring Winnie Harlow (metal marilyn chain dress), Barbara Palvin (rhodium chain crop top), Jasmine Sanders (houndstooth chain tank), Lais Ribeiro (rhodium spiderweb mini dress), and Kelsey Merritt (light gold chain crop top). Photography by James Macari and Laretta Houston.
Natalia Fedner has received a one year art fellowship from the National Arts Club in New York City. The National Arts Club is a private club on Gramercy Park, Manhattan, New York City. It was founded in 1898 by Charles DeKay, an art and literary critic of the New York Times to “stimulate, foster, and promote public interest in the arts and to educate the American people in the fine arts. ” The NAC Artist Fellows program was launched to recognize and support a select number of leading artists in a range of artistic disciplines and is an integral part of the NAC’s mission to foster, promote and support the arts in America.
Since its founding in 1898, the Club has been committed to welcoming artists through presentations, performances, exhibitions and as members. The Club now programs over 150 free events a year, enjoyed by more than 25,000 New Yorkers. In our 120th year, the Club is renewing its commitment to the artistic community and seeks to foster a welcoming environment where artists, members and their guests can convene.
It’s always an honor to have a design displayed in the iconic Bergdorf Goodman windows. Mixed media artist Lyle Reimer personally selected Natalia’s piece to be displayed alongside his art in the center window after spotting it in the “Noir” shop inside of Bergdorf’s. The windows were part of a celebration of the Lyle XOX: Head of Design book release by Rizzoli New York. The visuals team at Bergdorf Goodman did an amazing job per usual.
After a successful event in Beverly Hills, Hanro and Natalia Fedner teamed up again to celebrate fashion week and Valentine’s Day in NYC. Model Gabrielle Covers, showed off Natalia Fedner’s silk spiderweb gown – and paired it with a sexy silk Hanro slip. Actress Elaine Hendrix (The Parent Trap, Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion) perused the collection. Stylists, buyers, tastemakers, and friends stopped by to checkout the designs and say hello. A wonderful success, the inaugural Hanro + Natalia Fedner event in Beverly Hills was a stylish way to kick off the holiday season. Natalia presented her reversible metal dresses for the first time. And although she was accused of witchery, she took it as a compliment. Project Runway model Leslie Allen was on hand to show off the metal magic. Hollywood stylists, taste makers, and celebrities in attendance included Timothy Chernyaev, Justin Lynn, Niki Schwan, Sharon Chitrit, Gabriela Tena, Alexandra Grandquist, Elizabeth TenHouten, Naomi Grossman, Alexandra Adomaitis, Jezlan Moyet, Okera Banks, and Nadia Lanfranconi. (Please note this event has already passed. To read about it click here). It’s no secret that Natalia Fedner’s designs pair perfectly with Hanro’s undergarments. Strength, beauty, quality, and attention to detail are features both brands are proud of. So it only makes sense that the two brands would come together for a trunk show! Come see how to layer Natalia’s styles like a pro with Hanro. Say hello to Natalia, check out her new collection, and explore Hanro’s new Beverly Hills shop. Refreshments will be served. November 29, 3pm – 8pm. Please RSVP to RSVP@hanrousa.com and be sure to mention if you are a stylist.
Not only are Natalia Fedner’s metal designs part of the hottest new shop on Fifth Avenue – “Noir” by Linda Fargo (inside of Bergdorf Goodman), they are also on display in the coveted store windows! Be sure to visit the 2nd floor to see the designs in person. The visuals team at Bergdorf Goodman is the best in the business- and the way they display the pieces, inside the store and in the windows, is unparalleled.
Natalia attended the launch party of “Noir” on September 4th, 2018. Yes, there really was a giant wooden horse – and it was stunning!
We are very excited to announce that select Natalia Fedner dresses, gowns, and undergarments are now available at BergorfGoodman.com. The collection will be available in store starting in September. If you haven’t seen it already, we highly recommend you check out “Scatter My Ashes At Bergdorf’s” – a wonderful documentary on the legendary store. Scroll down to view the trailer.
